The crane utilizes two limit switches to determine that the
driver does not over-burden the crane:
a)
The most extreme burden switch screens the force
on the link and determines that the burden does not surpass 18 ton.
b) The burden minute switch determines that the
driver does not surpass the ton-meter rating of the crane as the burden moves
out on the jib. A feline head gathering in the slewing unit can measure the
measure of breakdown in the jib and sense when an over-burden condition
happens.
The Limit switches make sure that load does not get more that
maximum capacity , providing control options. This Overload can not only
permanently damage the machine but also risk life of engineers , workers and
other people present in the construction site. Keeping this fact in mind it is
extremely important for the operator to be updated of load so that he can make
sure of safety measures.
